Hormonal prostate cancer treatment talk set Monday

The prostate cancer treatment protocol that prominent Los Angeles oncologist Robert Leibowitz has championed will be the topic of discussion at the Yolo Prostate Cancer Support Group’s meeting Monday.

Group member Fred Wood will discuss Leibowitz’s advocacy of hormonal therapy. Men with prostate cancer, family members and friends are invited to attend the 7 p.m. gathering at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St. in Woodland. Admission is free.
