Iran expert to speak at UC Davis

The UC Davis department of Middle East/South Asia studies presents a public lecture by Mohamad Tavakoli-Targhi, a professor of history and Near and Middle Eastern civilizations at the University of Toronto, on Wednesday in ARC Ballroom A on the UCD campus.

A reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by the presentation, “The Cyrus Cylinder and a Trans-Confessional Narrative of Iranian Civilization,” at 7 p.m., part of the Suad Joseph Lecture Series in Iranian Studies.
