Irish dancing demo set at Davis library

Fans of Irish dancing are invited to a demonstration from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Blanchard Room of the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Mother-daughter dancers Joanne and Micaela Robertson will provide an introduction and overview of the history and technique of Irish dancing before inviting the audience to “join the ring” and participate. Live authentic music will be provided by Irish fiddler Sean O’Brien.
