Kids can learn how to write a song

By
From page A5 | May 02, 2013 |

Songwriting is the focus of a KidsCreate program from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pence Gallery, 212 D St. in downtown Davis.

Dave Nachmanoff is an award-winning singer-songwriter who has taught children and adults across the nation the fine art of how to write songs. Participants will learn how to construct a song, write a group song and record it. Then they’ll use crazy lines and letters to decorate a CD and case.

The cost is $7 general or $5 for Pence members. RSVP by May 3 to 530-758-3370 or penceeducation@yahoo.com.
