By From page A4 | January 30, 2013

Korematsu Elementary School will host a program honoring the Fred T. Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The school is at 3100 Loyola Drive in Davis. Community members are welcome.

The Korematsu Student Choir will sing “What Can One Little Person Do” and the Live Oakes Educational Theater will present a musical life story of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., which will include parts for both students and teachers.

The evening will conclude with activity stations around campus, where students will participate in a passport program to learn more about Korematsu and the civil liberties he stood for.
