Learn all about native plants for your garden

By From page A3 | July 18, 2014

Native plants make beautiful and water-conserving additions to home gardens. Local residents are invited to get ideas about what natives to add to their landscape, plus tips on when and how to plant them, on a walking tour Sunday of the UC Davis Arboretum.

The tour, which will focus on the Mary Wattis Brown Garden of California Native Plants, will begin at 10 a.m. at the Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center.

The event is free, and free parking is available in nearby Gateway District Parking Lot. For more information and directions, call 530-752-4880 or visit http://arboretum.ucdavis.edu/calendar.aspx.
