Learn energy-saving tips at Saturday’s Cool Home Workshop

The Cool Davis Initiative invites local residents to drop in to the Cool Home Workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St.

Visitors will learn home energy savings and assessment skills; play at the sustainable washing station; enjoy fresh, healthy food; and have a chance to win prizes, like LED light bulbs and clothes drying racks. Healthy play activities will be available for children.

Current Cool California Challenge participants can bring their login information to receive assistance logging data for the challenge and new participants can still sign up.
