On Thursday, International House, Davis, will offer a Jewish cooking class with instructor Sara Brownstein. On the menu are challa, gefilte fish, chicken soup and matza balls, kugel and compote.

Participants will meet at I-House, 10 College Park, at 5 p.m. to make the meal; they’ll sit down to eat it afterward. The cost is $10 for I-House members, $15 for nonmembers.

Mark your calendars for a Zimbabwean cooking class, taught by Nathalie Minya, on Thursday, April 25.
