Learn to spot winter birds in Davis

By From page A9 | December 28, 2012

All are welcome to learn about local birds during a free slide show and tour of the UC Davis Arboretum on Saturday, Jan. 12.

Visitors will enjoy a slide show highlighting birds they might see in winter in the Arboretum. Then, weather permitting, the group will take a stroll with a docent to look for birds in the garden.

The tour will meet at 1 p.m. at 146 Environmental Horticulture on campus. The event is free; parking is free on the weekends and available in Visitor Lot 5, at Old Davis Road and Arboretum Drive.

For more information, call 530-752-4880 or visit arboretum.ucdavis.edu.
