Library opening late Monday

All seven Yolo County branch libraries — including two branches in Davis — will have shortened hours Monday, so staff members may attend systemwide training. Branches normally open on Mondays will reopen from 2 to 6 p.m. Yolo County’s Central Services and Archives also will be affected.

The Stephens Branch is at 315 W. 14th St. and the satellite branch is at Montgomery Elementary School, 1441 Danbury St.

“These closures are necessary to help keep staff trained and up to date on events that affect the Yolo County Library system,” Yolo County Librarian Patty Wong said in a news release.

Library users can access online services, such as the catalog and databases like 211 Yolo, during the closure.
