Linux meeting focuses on desktop widgets

On Monday, Dec. 17, the Linux Users’ Group of Davis will host a presentation on “WidgetFX,” a platform for creating desktop widgets, presented by Stephen Chin, the project’s lead developer.

The group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. The meeting is free and open to the public.
