Linux users get a hands-on demonstration

On Monday, Oct. 15, the Linux Users’ Group of Davis will host a presentation on, and demonstration of, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining with Linux: how one can mill and route materials, and even print circuit boards, at home. Attendees will get a chance to take home their own engraved/machined object.

The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will run from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.
