Linux Users’ Group celebrates 15 years

On Monday, Jan. 20, the Linux Users’ Group of Davis will celebrate its 15th anniversary with free pizza, cake and a prize drawing. The group also will welcome John Mark Walker, Gluster community leader at Red Hat Inc.

“GlusterFS” is an open source, distributed file system capable of scaling to several petabytes and handling thousands of clients.

The meeting will run from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Club Room at the Veterans’ Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St. in Davis. This event is free and open to the public.
