Local Sierra Club leaders meet Sept. 12

The Management Committee of the Sierra Club Yolano Group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the home of Ida Bryant, 1414 Clara Lane in Davis.

The agenda will include updates and discussions of the proposed Berryessa-Snow Mountain National Conservation Area, a proposed wind turbine installation in Clarksburg and its possible adverse effects on migratory birds and raptors, and the proposed PG&E training facility on rural land outside Winters.

Other local and regional conservation issues also will be discussed as well as Yolano Group administrative matters. The public is invited to all Yolano Group meetings.
