Make a connection at new café

By From page A5 | November 22, 2013

Local residents are invited to drop in and enjoy entertainment, have pleasant conversation, sit in a quiet side room with a cup of coffee to study, or get up to speed with the digital age at Monday evening’s 7th and A Connections Café. The café is open from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Valente Room at 646 A St. (the corner of Seventh and A streets).

The regular weekly gathering is an opportunity for community members of all ages to interact with each other, enjoy live music, have a quiet place to study, and/or try out iPads, e-readers and netbooks or learn how to use iPhones, using an available free Wi-Fi connection.

Connections Café participants are invited to bring their own computer devices if they have questions about how to use them.

Vendors, sponsors and entertainers are welcome. For more information, call 530-753-5206.
