“Nelson Mandela, An African Hero” — a program of stories, music, dance and drum-making for children ages 4-9 — is planned Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at International House, Davis, 10 College Park. The program, organized by Nathalie Minya, is part of the I-House’s Children’s International Storytelling Program.

Minya was born and raised in Zimbabwe and now lives in Davis. In this program of readings, songs and stories, children will understand what Mandela brought to the world.

Admission is free for I-House members. Nonmembers are asked to pay $2 per person or $5 per family.

For more information, call I-House at 530-753-5007.
