Yolo Adult Day Health Center will sponsor a Medicare presentation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the center, 20 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland.

“The Seven Things You Must Know as a Caregiver of Someone on Medicare” will be shared by Pamala Hunter, owner of Adult Insurance Solutions. She will discuss ways to negotiate the Medicare system for their loved ones and clients. In addition, she will include a brief overview and tips for those who will be affected by the Affordable Care Act, which starts enrollments Oct. 1.

Hunter, an independent, licensed insurance agent, specializes in educating people turning 65 or leaving their employer’s group health coverage (at a later age), about health care, long-term care, final expense and life insurance options.
