Men gather for Talk, Drum Circle

The next Davis Community Men’s Talk & Drum Circle will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at FamiliesFirst, 2100 Fifth St., upstairs in the campus program building. There is no charge for these monthly events, and all men 18 years and older are welcome.

“For thousands of years, men have known the communal wisdom that comes from talking from their heart, as we discover what emerges is not tethered to mediocrity, nor the common and predictable,” a news release said. “Instead, masculinity touches tenderness, creativity and wholeness.”

The Talk Circle always supports men talking only as they feel ready. All men are welcome.
