Men’s talk circle meets Dec. 6

The next Community Men’s Talk & Drum Circle meets from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at FamiliesFirst, 2100 Fifth St. (next door to the main post office). It is open to all men age 18 and older and is free.

The Men’s Talk & Drum Circles are designed to create new safe ways for men to be together and new pathways that foster connections toward community. It is also a way for men to know the different experience that comes from talking with another man about their vulnerabilities.

“This is vital medicine for men, especially our younger men who often feel so disheartened by the lack of elders and the poverty of stewardship toward the Earth,” a committee member said.
