Missing pooch back home

Lily, the mini Australian shepherd who was stolen from her Eighth Street home on Monday was returned Thursday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post by Lily’s owner, the person who ended up ¬†with the dog realized it was stolen and turned her over to Yolo County Animal Services.

Police said a 23-year-old man reported that between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday, someone entered the residence and took Lily, who has been locked in a bedroom. There were no signs of forced entry.
