Moniz will give free talk about Cuba

Historian Rick Moniz of Davis will share highlights from his recent trip to Cuba, share insights and answer questions at a free presentation from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 18. His talk will be in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Moniz has traveled a few dozen times to Cuba over the past three decades, leading delegations throughout the island. His program, Faces of Cuba, has rewarded participants with insights into the lives and history of the Cuban people.
