Mother’s Day Tea raises funds for Central Park Gardens

By From page A5 | May 02, 2013

Davis’ Central Park Gardens and Ciocolat are pairing up again to host the fourth annual Mother’s Day Tea in the Garden on Sunday, May 12. Guests will be treated to a decadent, four-course high tea served among the flowers, featuring handmade corsages for moms, and special gift plants and seeds.

Proceeds from the event will provide much-needed funding for plants, gardening supplies and public education programs for Central Park Gardens. The flowers, herbs and other plants in the garden are tended by a group of community volunteers who have renovated the garden from the ground up.

Reservations are required, and seatings are available at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 each.

Central Park Gardens are in Central Park along B Street, between Third and Fourth streets. To make a reservation, call Ciocolat at 530-753-3088. For more information, visit http://www.centralparkgardens.org or email [email protected].
