NAMI backers walk in Sacramento

NAMIWalks is just around the bend on Saturday, May 3, in Sacramento’s William Land Park.

Thousands of concerned citizens across the nation will walk together to raise money and awareness to ensure that programs from the National Alliance on Mental Illness are available to provide help and hope to those in need.

NAMI-Yolo is one of six Northern California county groups participating in the walk. All funds raised stay local and are used for NAMI programs.

Free registration starts at 8 a.m., the speaker program begins at 9 a.m. and the walk follows at 10 a.m. For more information, visit www.namiyolo.org/namiwalks.
