NAMI support group meets Nov. 28

The NAMI-Yolo Family Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the community room off the plaza at the César Chávez housing complex, 1220 Olive Drive in Davis. The group is for friends and caregivers of those suffering from severe mental illness.

It meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month and offers a caring and confidential environment in which to share coping strategies and insights when faced with the challenges of mental illness in a family member. A trained NAMI-Yolo family member facilitates the group.
