The Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis, welcomes readers to the ongoing Active Older Adult Discussion Group on Thursday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The group will meet in the Blanchard Room.
The discussion group meets regularly on the second Thursday of each month to explore aspects of the conscious aging movement, seeking to mine the wisdom of long lives and find effective ways to share and pass on legacies. Rabbi Zalman Schacter-Shalomi and Ronald Miller’s book, “From Age-ing to Sage-ing,” serves as a guide for discussion and activities.
No reservations are required for the free gathering. The Blanchard Room is accessible for people with disabilities. For more information, contact Joan Tuss at 530-757-5588 or [email protected].
