California Connections Academy @ North Bay, a tuition-free virtual public school serving students in grades kindergarten through 12, will host a free information session in Davis for families interested in learning about its online program and individualized approach to education.

The school, which will welcome its inaugural class for the 2014-15 school year, gives students in Yolo, Sonoma, Napa, Lake, Mendocino, Colusa and Glenn counties the flexibility to learn at home with a curriculum that meets rigorous state education standards.

The Davis session will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, at University Park Inn and Suites, 1111 Richards Blvd. The information session will provide families with an opportunity to meet with Connections Academy instructors and staff and explore the school’s program and curriculum.

Families unable to attend this event can hook up with an online information session. For a full list of online sessions, visit www.connectionsacademy.com/california-online-north-bay/events.aspx.
