Panelists will discuss ‘quest for justice’ in Middle East

“Revolutions, Counter-Revolutions and the Quest for Justice in the Middle East” is the title of a panel discussion planned for noon Friday in the King Room of the UC Davis Memorial Union. The program is sponsored by the Middle East/South Asia Studies Program with support from the history department and International Relations Program.

Panelists will be:

* Bassam Haddad, director of the Middle East Studies Program and a professor of public and international affairs at George Mason University, on Syria;

* Susan Miller, a professor of history at UCD, on Tunisia;

* Wendy DeSouza, a visiting lecturer in Iranian studies at UCD, on Iran; and

* Noha Radwan, associate professor of Arabic and comparative literature at UCD, on Egypt.
