Parents may run for seat on Davis High School Site Council

Davis High School is seeking one parent to serve on the School Site Council for the 2014-15 school year. Principal Will Brown, staff members, parents and teachers serve on this committee.

The School Site Council discusses ways to improve student achievement and meets at DHS, 315 W. 14th St., at 3 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.

Parents who are interested in applying to serve are asked to submit a one-paragraph statement (120 words maximum) to Vice Principal Tom McHale at [email protected] by 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15. They should include their reasons for wanting to serve as well as relevant¬†experience. This information will appear on a ballot at Back-to-School Night on Sept. 17.
