Parents’ Night Out features Vacation Bible School

By From page A3 | August 22, 2014

Pole Line Road Baptist Church is hosting a parents’ night out, with the bonus of Vacation Bible School activities, from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at 770 Pole Line Road in Davis.

This is a fun evening of games, crafts, Bible stories, movies and refreshments for children while parents spend some time on their own. All children, from infants through sixth-graders may attend. All workers have been approved through an extensive background check and interview process.

The Vacation Bible School theme is “Agency D3 — Discover, Decide & Defend,” where children will become “secret agents” with their own evidence kit. They’ll discover facts and use reasoning to come to real conclusions. This is the final day of the VBS series.

To register, bring your children starting at 5:45 p.m., or drop them off for any part of the evening. A donation of $2.50 per child is suggested.

For more information, call the church office at 530-753-4315, email [email protected] or visit www.polelinebaptist.org.
