Peace is the topic of KDRT radio show

By From page A4 | February 04, 2014

In French it is “paix”; in Latin, “pax”; in Spanish, “paz”; and in English, “peace.” In any language, it represents something most of us long for, hope for, wish for and yearn for. Yet “peace” — between nations, in our personal and social relationships, or peace of mind — all appear to be elusive.

The Rev. Denese Shellink of Unity Church in Davis will talk about her involvement with the Be-Peace training and teaching programs through the Rasur Foundation in Costa Rica when she appears on Thursday’s broadcast of “Through the Looking Glass” on KDRT, 95.7 FM. The show, hosted by psychotherapist Dr. Gitane, airs at 4 p.m.
