Peregrine School invites community members to its winter art show, “What Does an Elephant Look Like?: Developmental Perspectives on Art,” taking place Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Peregrine Elementary School, 1909 Galileo Court, Suite C, in South Davis.

In this show, viewers will see how children ages 2-12 see and represent an elephant in different ways depending on their developmental stage and imaginations. The event also will feature music and storytelling by Tha Dirt Feelin, activities for children, food and beverages and beer for sale by The Hoppy Brewing Co.

Admission $5 per person.

This event is co-sponsored by the Academic Language Development Network and the CRESS Center at the UC Davis School of Education. The guest curator is Kristina Perea Gilmore.
