Pink Party has something for adults, kids

By From page A4 | October 25, 2013

The second annual Pink Party Trick-or-Treat from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in Woodland will raise money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The event, which features booths staffed by home-based business owners, will be at the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall, 345 W. Kentucky Ave.

Organizer RoseMary O’Malley walked in the Making Strides event last Sunday with the PartyLite team, “Wish Upon a Sterling Star,” and is continuing to raise money for the team. All donations and vendor fees from Saturday’s event will go to Making Strides.

Local residents are invited to shop while their children enjoy an early trick-or-treat.
