Poet leads creative writing workshops

Beginning April 30, the Davis Art Center is offering a six-week creative writing workshop, “Writing to Free the Soul,” from 10 a.m to noon Tuesdays.

Led by poet and fiction writer Karin Stevens, the workshop is designed for writers of all skill levels, even first-timers, to explore the freedoms of expression through on-the-spot writing to prompts. All writing is done during class time.

The fee is $95 for members, $105 for nonmembers. For information, or to enroll, stop by the Art Center at 1919 F St., call 530-756-4100, or register online at www.davisartcenter.org.
