Davis police are investigating an alleged felony battery that took place Friday afternoon at Community Park.

According to police, Sutter Davis Hospital staff phoned police after a 54-year-old Davis man turned up with a half-inch cut between his eyebrows. The man told police that a meeting between former roommates at the park had turned ugly and ended with him being punched in the face.

Cpl. Michael Moore said officers were attempting to contact a suspect on Saturday.
