Post-war memories of Paris to be aired

By From page A4 | June 12, 2014

Betty Jo Rivers, who died on May 9 at age 88, left a bit of herself behind when she shared her experience in post-war Paris with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute members in the spring of 2013. A devoted OLLI member who attended many classes, Rivers also was pleased to become an instructor by participating in the course “Living Abroad: Paris.”

That class was videotaped and is available for checkout at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis. It also will be the featured video on “OLLI Presents,” the Davis Media Access program to be aired next week on Comcast Channel 15. Air times are 6 p.m. Monday; noon Wednesday, Friday, June 20, and Sunday, June 22; and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21.
