Post-war memories of Paris to be aired

By From page A4 | June 12, 2014

Betty Jo Rivers, who died on May 9 at age 88, left a bit of herself behind when she shared her experience in post-war Paris with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute members in the spring of 2013. A devoted OLLI member who attended many classes, Rivers also was pleased to become an instructor by participating in the course “Living Abroad: Paris.”

That class was videotaped and is available for checkout at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis. It also will be┬áthe featured video on “OLLI Presents,” the Davis Media Access program to be aired next week on Comcast Channel 15. Air times are 6 p.m. Monday; noon Wednesday, Friday, June 20, and Sunday, June 22; and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21.
