Davis Community Church Nursery School will host an open house for its Early Explorer program Friday, Sept. 27, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the preschool, Fourth and C streets in downtown Davis.

Early Explorers is an unlicensed program with mandatory parent participation. The program is meant to offer an opportunity for hands-on playtime for parents and children ages 15-24 months in a comfortable, supportive and nurturing environment.

“Parents will learn positive parenting skills and exciting ways to encourage their child’s natural curiosity,” said teacher Brenda Mohr. “This is also an opportunity to meet other parents and share the joy of seeing your special little person learn and grow. The class includes everything from singing, art exploration, and musical play, to dance, outdoor fun, and reading.”

Tuition is $121 for each 11-week session (three sessions per year).
