The Davis High School PTA is launching an effort to coordinate regular donations of basic consumable supplies and in-kind donations to DHS. Paper reams, white board pens, Lysol wipes, tissue and sanitizer are requested. The items will be placed in a supply closet accessible to teachers and staff at the school.

The first date to donate is open house on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the PTA table set up on the quad near the library. Future donation requests will be made via the school listserv. Donations also can be made during monthly PTA meetings, including the next meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the school library, 315 W. 14th St.

If you have an item you think a DHS teacher might be able to use or have access to such items, contact organizers Yvonne Rodriguez at iyr@sbcglobal.net or Carin Loy at carinloy@sbcglobal.net.
