By From page A4 | March 30, 2014

In celebration of National Public Health Week, April 7-14, the Yolo County Health Department invites the community to attend this year’s Public Health and Wellness Fair from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at 137 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland.

This free, family-friendly event includes bike helmet fittings and traffic safety games, car seat inspections, blood pressure screenings, healthy eating activities and food samples, sidewalk CPR activities, rides on the smoothie bike and more.

Residents are encouraged to walk, bike, stroll or roll over to the fair and find out how public health services in Yolo County can help make America the healthiest nation in just one generation.
