Puppet fun planned at Covell Gardens

Atria Covell Gardens plans a Grandparents Day Celebration with Christopher’s Musical Marionettes at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. An ice cream social will follow the show.
Grandparents and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren are invited to this free event.
Chris Oates is a professional puppeteer. His specialty is handcrafting and performing with musically talented marionette puppets. Characters such as Cowboy Cody and Katie Roller-Skatey sing, dance and play musical instruments.
