Pylon races set at Aeromodelers’ field

The public is invited to attend the Woodland Davis Aeromodelers inaugural radio-control airplane pylon races on Saturday and Sunday, Sept 7-8.

See high-speed models race around a three-pylon course at speeds from 150 to 190 mph.

Racers from California, Oregon, Arizona and Utah will compete from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m.

This event is at the new Woodland Davis Model Airplane Field, on County Road 29, 1.3 miles east of County Road 102. Admission is free and open to the public. Food and drink may be obtained at the field.
