Register for water vote by Feb. 19

The last day to register to vote for the city of Davis special election is Tuesday, Feb. 19. The ballot focuses on Measure I, asking voters to decide on a plan to pipe Sacramento River water to Davis and Woodland.

The ballots will be mailed out next week and are due back on March 5.

To qualify to register to vote, a voter must be 18 years of age on election day, be a resident of the County of Yolo for at least 15 days before the election, be a citizen of the United States and submit a properly completed Affidavit of Registration to the County Clerk-Elections Department.
