By From page A5 | September 24, 2013

A community rummage sale will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Lillard Hall on County Road 95, next to the West Plainfield Fire Station. A wide assortment of items from many families will be available for purchase.

Funds raised at this rummage sale will go toward scholarships to allow members of the California 4-H Poultry Judging Team to attend the nationals in Kentucky in November.

This year’s team is made up of three local youths — Hannah Lomas of Davis, Elizabeth Allen of Winters and Isabel Barichievich of Woodland. For more information about the sale or the team, email [email protected].
