Salvation Army bell-ringers needed

By From page A4 | December 11, 2012

Community volunteers are needed to ring the bell for the Davis Salvation Army holiday kettle drive. Shifts are available between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily, through Dec. 22, excluding Sundays.

Money collected in the red kettle drive is used in Davis at a back-to-school shopping day for low-income children, food vouchers, gift cards for holiday basketsĀ for the Short-Term Emergency Aid Committee and lap blankets for folks in skilled nursing care homes in Davis.

To volunteer, call Dick Berry at 530-753-6437 or email him at [email protected].
To donate a check to the Davis Salvation Army, mail to Toni Smith, 2312 Lassen Place, Davis CA 95616.

All money collected in Davis is used in Davis.
