Screenwriting class offered at Davis Art Center

Want to see your story on the big screen? Teens older than 14 and adults are invited to sign up for the Davis Art Center’s screenwriting class, which meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Nov. 14.

“In this mutually empowering environment, you will learn to create compelling stories driven by unique characters,” instructor Dottie Bonneau said in a news release. “By the end of the class, you will know how to format a full-length screenplay and how to pitch your screenplay to producers and agents. You will leave this class with a beat sheet (outline) of your project.”

The class fee is $80 for Art Center members and $90 for nonmembers; it includes a $15 materials fee.
