The Davis Art Center is offering a four-week beginning/intermediate sewing class taught by Elaine Busch on Wednesdays, Jan. 9-30, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The class is designed for ages 13 through adult and will guide participants through four projects that they will complete in the individual class sessions. The completed projects are a simple market bag, lounge pants, a decorative pillow and a small zippered bag.

No previous sewing experience is necessary. Those with previous sewing experience are invited to bring a project of their choice and will receive needed guidance.

The fee is $70 for Art Center members and $80 for the general public. To enroll, stop by the Art Center at 1919 F. St., call 530-756-4100 or register online at www.davisartcenter.org.
