Should breast cancer patients change their diet?

Dietitian Kathy Newman will discuss “Nutrition and the Breast Cancer Patient” at a free program Monday at 7 p.m. at the University Covenant Church, 315 Mace Blvd. The program is presented by the Breast Cancer Care and Research Fund.

Newman is a specialist in oncology nutrition at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. She will answer the question: Should you change your diet when you are diagnosed with breast cancer? There will be a time for questions and answers.
