The UC Davis department of Spanish and Portuguese presents the eighth annual Colloquium on Latin American and Peninsular Languages, Literatures and Cultures from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
This year’s colloquium will feature speakers and researchers presenting on a wide variety of topics, including Peninsular and Latin American literature and cinema, as well as Hispanic linguistics and second language acquisition.
The event will be of interest to anyone studying Hispanic language, literature and culture. Colloquium presenters come from a variety of universities in the United States (including New York, Colorado and Texas) and abroad (including Mexico, Colombia and Spain).
This all-day interdisciplinary exchange will take place in the DeCarli, Garrison and MUII rooms on the second floor of the Memorial Union.
