Stroke survivors can learn to cook with one hand

By From page A14 | October 20, 2013

The Stroke Support Group at the Woodland Senior Center will host a one-handed cooking demonstration at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, by Rosanna Radding, a stroke survivor.

She developed her “One Hand Can Cook” workshops to help growth, independence and personal successes for other stroke survivors.

Radding will share her thoughts about the challenges of rehabilitation and transitioning into a “new normal,” living one-handed in a two-handed world.

The free workshop will take place at the Woodland Senior Center, 2001 East St. For more information, call Tom Hoag at 530-867-7825.
