Talk examines dementia behaviors

“Dealing with Difficult Behaviors” will be the topic of a presentation by Annette Vance of Senior Helpers in-home care agency from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Her talk will take place at the Yolo Adult Day Health Center, 20 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland. Refreshments will be served.

People with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias occasionally exhibit behavior problems, Vance said. Potential causes of the behavior and strategies to cope with it will be discussed.
