All are invited to the fifth annual “Tea Time” event on Sunday, June 1. Guests will relax and enjoy iced or hot tea and fresh-baked treats prepared and served by five Davis High School students. This will be their final “Tea Time” fundraiser since four of the five are graduating seniors.

The event will be held in the garden at 1309 Notre Dame Drive. Seatings will be at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. RSVP to [email protected] or 530-304-0560. Seating is limited.

This year’s proceeds will go the Yolo Crisis Nursery. The nursery provides a safe place for families in crisis and serves children from birth through age 5, but EMQ FamiliesFirst has announced it will close the nursery this year. Friends of the Yolo Crisis Nursery, community organizations and individuals are working to raise $100,000 to keep the nursery open. At present, $75,000 has been raised.
